✓ We will be training together for 12 weeks in an inclusive and supportive environment.

We highly encourage folks to be fully masked during rehearsals.

In Lak’ech Dance Academy is offering a Level II (Advanced Beginner) training opportunity in Bachata & Salsa on2.
This is a 12 hour series and is ideal for those who already got your basics down and want to take your salsa and bachata moves to the next level.
This training is not for Beginners (IF INTERESTED IN BEGINNER LEVEL - SEE OUR BEGINNER TRAINING 8wk SERIES OPTION)

I had the time of my life taking the introductory series! I take a lot of dance classes to build my skills and develop as a dancer, and when I signed up for the fall series, I decided that I'd take this to have fun! And I had SO MUCH FUN! Each week I got to dance with lighthearted, funny talented, and genuinely kind folks. And because I saw most folks week after week, I developed sweet friendships with the people I danced with. I feel so fortunate to be in the In Lak'ech Dance community and to have learned from Angelica & Jahaira!

We accept 30 students in each series. It is based on a first come first serve basis.
How many students are in the series?
We recommend that folks wear their masks. Please do share with Angelica and Jahaira any access needs that you might have so you can be supported to participate fully in class.
What is your Covid policy?

No, you are required to have a partner. We will be rotating partners in class.
Do I need a partner to join?
We do not offer refunds for any reason. However, your class registration can be transferred to another person if you cannot attend. Please email us at inlakechdance@gmail.com for more information.
What is your refund policy?
Yes, this series is for someone who has little to absolutely no experience dancing Bachata and or Salsa. However, if you have experience and want to brush up on your basic fundamentals, this series is for you too.
Is this series for beginners only?
Yes, we do! We never want money to stop someone from dancing. Please email us at inlakechdance@gmail.com to set up a payment plan.
Do we offer a payment plan?
If you have the time and resources to take both series, then go for it! Please be aware that you are committing yourself to 3 hours of dancing each week plus any extra rehearsal on your own.
Do you recommend we take both Salsa/Bachata series or just one series?
Our Bachata and Salsa series takes place once a week in Oakland for 90 minutes. It is a 12 week program (3months), 18 hours total per series.
